Responsibilities

• Make design and architect decisions related to platform/stack for both the consumer-facing site and the back-end data integration platform. Team player who listens and collaborates, as well as, leads.
• Ensure product and platform is built with the best solutions for scalability, availability and security. Contribute platform-level technology decisions. Think ahead.
• Take a leadership role as part of smart and dynamic agile team. You are a broad technologist and will work on everything. You avoid working on one component of the stack and take pride in your agility to work on all aspects of a product.
• Previous co-workers comment that you take great pride in all your work and your code is solid delighting both QA and consumers alike.
• You are as much a business person as a coder. You are engaged by having a voice on a new product. You are known to make sound win win technology to business solutions (and vice versa.)
• You like working with people and people like working with and for you.

Requirements

• 7-8 years of internet software development experience.
• Proven problem solving in addressing both business and technology challenges.
• Technology is a passion as well as job. You code products/apps outside of work as a hobby.
• From conception to successful release you have architected and developed complex commercial products that have a legacy as being great.
• A strong background in computer science and/or math
• Your previous experience is largely dedicated to developing products in an agile environment where iteration has lead to perfection.

• You look at better ways of doing things from a process and infrastructure standpoint to improve productivity.
• You can quickly prototype and are known to be a fast contributor. Past co-workers will attest to prowess and agility in building great products.
• You are intuitive and are constantly learning new technology. You err on the side of execution with a keen eye on the future impact of your decisions and contribution.

• Made a significant contribution to a large-scale consumer internet site where security matters
• Passionate about designing and delivering compelling user experiences
• Understands the web experience is the tip of the iceberg and there is significant plumbing under water
• Knowledge of SEM, SEO and ad server technology and Internet ad lingo
• A structured and unstructured data integration technology strategy master
