Director of Ad Sales at NextInternet in San Francisco, CA

Next Internetis seeking an experienced Director of Ad Sales to develop the strategy/plan and execute and manage all ad sales activity for our CPC advertising marketplace startup.  The goal of this company is to build the #1 “PUSH” click marketplace. We are already profitable and scaling quickly.

 

Responsibilities:
·        The Director of Ad Sales reports directly to the COO and is the key executive responsible for the planning and execution of all sales activities for our CPC ad marketplace  
·        Building and recruiting 5 to 10+ sales account executive team from the ground up
      ·       To support mission and philosophy, communicating them effectively to others, 

        creating a high-energy focused culture.

      ·       To define, execute and manage strategic sales and new business development
        initiatives, policies, processes, measures and goals, building and sustaining our

        client base;

      ·       To produce sales presentations and collateral materials, plan and monitor sales
        projections, refine and improve sales methods, assuring that sales team goals are

        met;

      ·        To work cooperatively with cross-functional peers and teams to develop and
        administer training and sales skills as well as implement incentive programs to
        inspire success;      
      ·        To personally prospect, close and foster strategic accounts;
      ·        To establish and meet department budgets and “top line” revenue goals; distribute
        sales, budget and department reports;      
      ·        To coordinate with COO & Finance pricing, discounts and contract negotiations;      
      ·        To participate in major industry events and seminars  

 
Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s degree required
·        Minimum 5-7 years of overall internet sales experience
·        Strong Knowledge of Internet advertising: CPA, CPM, CPC,  Search marketing,  lead gen, direct response, email
·        Has built an Internet ad sales organization or a business unit from the ground up with a high track record of success;
·        Strong leader, highly ethical, team player
·        Proven ability to communicate goals/objectives and execute strategies
·        Strong troubleshooting and problem solving tools
·        Extensive Internet Startup experience
