Email Creative Designer at Next Internet in San Francisco, CA
Next Internet creates, builds, and operates Internet businesses. We are well-funded and have an experienced management team that has built several highly successful internet companies.
Next Internetis seeking a full-time, creative and motivated team member to help support the graphic needs of the Marketing department. The Email Designer will create a diverse array of consumer facing emails that will be seen by millions of people each day. This position provides a unique opportunity to drive the company's presence with cutting edge projects and to also apply a broad range of design expertise in email design.
Responsibilities:
· Producing high-level static artwork and copy for email templates
· Cutting and compressing graphical mockups
· Testing the resulting output for functionality, grammar, and accuracy
· Analyzing statistics to develop more successful email designs
Qualifications:
- Creative talent and passion for design excellence
- Strong Conceptual and Problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated design portfolio with projects focused on web and graphic production
- Strong talent in static / non-moving advertising
- Expert skills with Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DreamWeaver
- Degree in Graphic/Web/UI Design or equivalent work experience
- Eagerness and ability to proactively learn new web technologies and graphic methods
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to self QA for functional, typographical, and logical errors
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to accept and provide constructive design feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment
- Ability to respond quickly to meet tight deadlines
- BA/BS and / or minimum 2 years work experience
- Ability to juggle multiple projects
- Experience or interest in Internet advertising
- Start-up experience a plus
