Marketing Operations Specialist at Next Internet in San Francisco, CA

  • The position will entail many different aspect of the Email Marketing industry: creative marketing, analytics, and operation.
  • Use email campaign software to create HTML, AOL and text emails and manage the QA/testing process
  • Execute email campaigns, including database segmentation, list management, campaign setup, testing, and execution
  • Work directly with campaign sponsor and Creative Services throughout campaign development and execution
  • Create and maintain all automated brokerage and marketing emails sent to the customer base
  • Maintain marketing communications production schedule to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Assess all email creative to ensure communications are aligned with internal email content policies and compliant with securities regulations
  • Monitor campaign results and provide reports on email performance to the marketing team and senior management on a regular basis
  • Maintain awareness of email marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations on email optimization tactics and best practices
  • Gain an understanding of internal data structures for data segmentation and analysis and a technical knowledge of internal infrastructure to deliver necessary enhancement requests
  • Work closely with Marketing and Operations and oversee development and deployment of a variety of email communication needs from each department
  • Build effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1-3 years marketing experience
  • 0-1 year experience developing and managing marketing email communications
  • Proficiency with HTML coding, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong problem, oral, and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
