QA Lead Engineer at Next Internet in San Francisco, CA

Next Internet is seeking a full-time QA Lead Engineer for our CPC advertising marketplace startup.  The goal of this company is to build the #1 “PUSH” click marketplace.  We are already profitable and scaling quickly.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Ensure product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle

·        Deliver fully tested products on schedule

·        Scope functional, integration, load/fail-over testing

·        Provide leadership and support for QA team members

·        Perform black box and white box testing

·        Create, drive and maintain automated and manual tests

·        Create test plans, produce and execute test cases

·        Submit detailed bug reports

·        Perform regression testing, bug verification

·        Contribute to release documentation

 


Qualifications:

·        8+ years of SQA experience for a software company

·         Experience with Perl, HTML, Javascript, JSP, SQL, java bean, custom tags

·        Strong knowledge of relational databases like mySQL

·        Comfortable in a startup environment

·        Work closely with product management, developers and operations to deliver high quality products

·        Familiar with Web-centric architecture

·        Familiar with multiple operating systems, including Windows XP, Unix / Linux

·        Familiar with Internet Explorer & Firefox

·        Automation experience using JUnit or Perl

·        Research & identify tools to assist with testing and improve processes

·        Supervisory and coaching experience

·        Self-motivated team player

·        Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Track record of testing excellence

  

Additional Desired Qualifications: 

 

    •  Background in online advertising platform
